A memorandum of understanding on academic and joint research in medicine, establishing a framework for research, teaching and academic exchange in the field. The MOU sets out areas of cooperation including joint research, research and publication, conferences and seminars, and exchange of staff and students.

Process
STEP 01
Initial Inquiry
Tell us the research area, technology or topic that interests you, and the form of collaboration you have in mind.
STEP 02
Initial Discussion
Within the bounds of published information, we establish the research objective, what each side brings, and the scope for working together.
STEP 03
NDA / CDA
A confidentiality agreement is concluded before we reach the stage at which unpublished information must be disclosed.
STEP 04
Research Plan & IP Terms
We negotiate the research objective, the team and division of roles, costs, background IP, foreground IP arising from the research, publication of results, and confidential information.
STEP 05
Agreement
A joint research agreement, a co-development agreement or another form of contract is concluded, according to the collaboration.
