Our Approach
How we think about it
Advalife Science reinvests the knowledge and value arising from its research, drug discovery and clinical work into research, education, healthcare and the environment, so that it circulates into the science and the society that follow.
Short-term business results are not the objective. Seen from the standpoint of human and planetary health, our activities, support and partnerships are directed at social value that takes time to build.

Where we reinvest
Research and education
Through basic research, new fields of study, joint research, endowed courses and the training of the next generation of researchers and clinicians, value returns to the base on which science and teaching rest.
Health and society
Through work on health and medicine and through social support, value returns in ways that improve people’s health and wellbeing.
Environment and planetary health
Treating human health and the health of the planet as one, we reinvest in research, support and partnerships concerning the environment and its ecosystems.
Culture & Exchange
Supporting international exchange through culture and the arts
Advalife Science was a main sponsor of the commemorative lectures and concerts held to mark the visit to Japan of Archduke Geza von Habsburg. We supported the event in sympathy with its purpose: to deepen the understanding of history through culture and the arts, and to foster international exchange.
During his stay, the Archduke visited Sinclair Ginza Clinic and gave warm words of encouragement for the work of our organisation.
Supporting Aspirations
Empowering individual dreams and challenges.
Advalife Science supports people with disabilities in pursuing their aspirations and taking part in sport and community life. As part of this commitment, we are sponsoring the Japanese film 4 Out — Play Ball Again, which centres on baseball played by people with physical disabilities.
The English title is a translation for readers’ reference. The original Japanese title is 『4アウト ─もう一度、プレイボール─』.
We believe that having a disability should not mean having to give up personal ambitions or future possibilities. Respecting each person’s choices and diverse ways of living, we hope to expand opportunities to enjoy sport, build connections and work towards individual and shared goals.
As an organisation engaged in research and development, we are also committed to exploring ways to improve function and support recovery following illness or injury. We pursue this work with perseverance and rigorous scientific evaluation.
Supporting people’s aspirations today and advancing the possibilities of medicine for the future are both central to our commitment. Through these efforts, we aim to help people sustain hope and pursue the lives they choose.

Supporting Hirari Sato’s Music
Advalife Science supports the musical activities of Hirari Sato, a singer-songwriter who is completely blind. We admire the way she faces challenges, expands her possibilities and shares her voice through music.
We believe it is important for everyone to be able to stay true to themselves and continue pursuing their aspirations. We hope that Hirari’s voice and the feelings she expresses through her music will reach more people.

Supporting Genki Saito in Para Table Tennis
Advalife Science supports Genki Saito, who represented Japan in table tennis at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. We admire his commitment to exploring his potential on the world stage and his continued efforts towards his goals.
We believe it is important for everyone to be able to stay true to themselves and continue pursuing their aspirations. We hope that Genki will continue to discover new possibilities through his sport.
