Overview
Advalife Science regards life as a complex system in which molecules, cells, tissues, immunity and metabolism all act upon one another. We analyse individual molecules and mechanisms of action in detail, and at the same time look at the interactions across those layers, seeking therapeutic possibilities that are not confined to a single component or a single target.
What is observed in clinical practice is translated into research hypotheses, and carried through basic research and scientific validation into the research and development of new drug candidates.
Research Platform
BIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS
The properties of a candidate and the biological response to it are analysed using assay and evaluation systems chosen for the research question.
CELLULAR & FUNCTIONAL EVALUATION
Responses and functional changes at the cellular level are evaluated, informing the characterisation of the candidate and the testing of the hypothesis.
INTEGRATED RESEARCH
Data from different levels — molecular, cellular and others — are combined to examine complex biological responses from several angles.

Characterisation and analysis
The molecular, cellular and biological properties of a new drug candidate are evaluated from several angles to establish what it is.
Screening and validation
Candidates are narrowed down and reproducibility confirmed, and the hypothesis and the data obtained are validated scientifically.
