We have built a structure that runs from research and discovery of new drug candidates through manufacturing and CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) to clinical trials and clinical development.
Since our founding in 2019 we have viewed life as a complex system of interconnected relationships, and on that basis we discover and develop new drug candidates.

What We Do

From a complex-systems perspective, we discover and develop new drug candidates and test them scientifically.

We carry research results through to manufacturing and CMC, non-clinical work, and clinical trials and clinical development, advancing new drug candidates.

We connect the specialist functions within the group: drug discovery research, manufacturing and CMC, clinical trials and clinical development, and our clinical network and real-world data.
Our Approach
Research hypotheses are formed from basic research and scientific evidence; each hypothesis is tested scientifically; and the results are carried through to intellectual property, joint research, non-clinical work, manufacturing and CMC, and clinical development. By connecting the specialist functions within the group with academic partners in Japan and abroad, we pass learnings at each stage on to the next development decision.
